Burger King Canada has extended its breakfast menu to include Seattle's Best Coffee, BK Breakfast Bowls and a classic stack of pancakes.
Canadian Burger King restaurants also serve their burger line up throughout the day, including during breakfast hours.
The announcement comes a week after Burger King Corp. announced the company's largest menu renovation in its history.
The new BK Breakfast Bowl is a combination of eggs, sausage, Southwestern-style potatoes, grilled onions and peppers, a three-cheese blend and a smoky cheese sauce. It is served in a no-mess bowl and is unique to the Canadian market for a suggested retail price of $2.99, or $3.59 as a value meal with coffee.
The BK pancake item includes three pancakes flavored with vanilla and served with a side of margarine and syrup.
Also, Seattle's Best will be available at restaurants across Canada at the suggested price of $1.19 for small, $1.39 for a medium and $1.59 for a large, and served around the clock at participating locations.
Burger King Corp. signed an agreement with Starbucks-owned Seattle's Best in February.
"An increasing percentage of Canadians are eating morning meals away from home, so it's important for us to offer more choice and a wider selection of breakfast items," said Raj Varman, general manager for Burger King Restaurants of Canada, Inc. "While we already had a diverse breakfast menu, including our popular burgers for breakfast, we are excited to expand our menu with three new and affordable options."
