Dunkin’ Donuts has partnered with Blue Diamond Growers to add almond milk to its menu as a non-dairy alternative to milk and cream for guests to add to their coffee.
Select Dunkin' Donuts restaurants nationwide will now offer Vanilla Almond Breeze Almondmilk as an addition to hot or iced coffee and lattes.
To celebrate the launch, Dunkin' Donuts and Blue Diamond are hosting a special "AlmonDD Milk Adventures" Twitter Sweepstakes. From now through Friday, followers of @DunkinDonuts or @AlmondBreeze on Twitter will be presented with a new challenge around the theme of almond milk. People who participate using the special hashtag #AlmonDDmilk are entered for a chance to win one $100 Dunkin' Donuts mGift each day.
"Our fans love that we offer so many choices to personalize their favorite coffee beverage. Over the past couple of years, based on an increasing number of customer requests, we began to explore options for expanding our menu with a non-dairy alternative to milk and cream. We believe adding Almond Breeze Almondmilk now gives our guests a unique and delicious new way to enjoy our famous coffee or lattes,” Dunkin’ Brands’ president John Costello said in a news release.
Eli Manning returns for NY promo
Dunkin' Donuts has also launched the "Go IceDD with Eli" campaign featuring New York Giants Quarterback Eli Manning. Guests will receive a 99-cent any-sized Iced Coffee when purchased with a DD Perks Rewards Program enrolled DD card, either plastic or via the Dunkin' Mobile App, at participating restaurants in the Metro New York area.
Guests will also be automatically entered for the chance to win two tickets to the Manning MasqueraDDe on Oct. 21. Attendees to the MasqueraDDe will have the chance to meet Eli Manning and have their photo taken with him. Guests are entered to win with their Iced Coffee purchase through Sept. 30.
The "Go IceDD with Eli" campaign will also be supported by advertisements in the Metro New York market. The ads will feature Manning promoting Dunkin' Donuts Iced Coffee and the DD Perks Rewards Program.
