Arby's is going all out for St. Patrick's Day, temporarily changing its name to "O'rb's" in its online channels, and offering two classic Reuben sandwiches for the price of one.
Arby's Classic Reuben sandwich features freshly-carved corned beef, topped with Swiss cheese, sauerkraut and Thousand Island dressing, served on toasted marble rye bread. The new Super Reuben sandwich features freshly-carved corned beef and turkey for twice the meat.
In 2011, Arby's sold more than 2.5 million pounds of corned beef, proving the item's popularity.
"We can't think of a better way to celebrate St. Patrick's Day than by tipping our green hats to tradition and offering our fans nationwide this delicious deal. You definitely don't need the luck of the Irish or a four-leaf clover to enjoy it," said Bob Kraut, senior vice president, Advertising and Marketing Communications, Arby's Restaurant Group Inc.
To join "O'rb's" celebration and participate in the Buy One Get One offer, fans need to visit Arby's Facebook page to download a coupon.
The deal is valid March 16-18. Fans also can follow "O'rb's" St. Patrick's Day adventures on Twitter.
The Classic Reuben sandwich is available nationwide for a suggested price of $4.99, or as a combo for $6.99. The Super Reuben sandwich is also available nationwide for a suggested price of $5.99.
