Ben & Jerry's announced this week that it is deploying the FreedomPay Commerce Platform across its U.S. system.
The FreedomPay platform includes mobile payment and incentive technologies that integrate with live POS systems, a gateway that transports data, security tools and the ability to leverage the platform to improve sales, customer retention, and incentive effectiveness, according to the company.
The cloud-based platform delivers a secure user experience on any device, bridging the gap across in-store, web and mobile by interconnecting POS systems, transaction hosts, incentive engines and other disparate systems. FreedomPay uses Point to Point Encryption (P2PE) for MICROS point-of-sales systems including support for NFC, EMV and magnetic stripe in a single solution.
"In today's hyper-connected world, Ben and Jerry's is positioned to deliver simply the best user experience for their customers," said Tom Durovsik, CEO of FreedomPay.
