Burger King is launching two customer service initiatives based on feedback received during a recent listening initiative led by the company's leadership. The brand is introducing a new restaurant manager role called Your Way Champions and a Whopper Guarantee program across its U.S. restaurants, according to a press release.

The initiatives follow a program launched four months ago where Burger King invited guests to share direct feedback by calling or texting a phone number provided by U.S. and Canada President Tom Curtis.

The Your Way Champion role reimagines the traditional restaurant manager position, designating a clearly uniformed leader tasked with welcoming guests, verifying order accuracy and addressing customer service issues. The company is investing in additional team member training and restaurant resources to support the role.

Under the new Whopper Guarantee, customers who receive an unsatisfactory Whopper sandwich can have the item remade immediately and will receive a digital coupon code for a free classic Whopper on their next visit. The promotion is managed via a QR code printed inside the sandwich box.

"When we asked guests where we could do better, they gave us a lot of honest feedback, and now it's our responsibility to act on it," Curtis said in the press release. "We're not going to get everything right every single time, but we're committed to listening intently and improving every day. When guests choose us, they expect high-quality food, orders made the way they asked, and a team that's there when they need us. That's what these changes are about. We're raising the standard in our restaurants, so every guest feels like they made the right choice."

The Miami-based hamburger chain, founded in 1954, operates more than 19,000 locations globally. Burger King indicated that additional operational updates and menu news will be announced later this summer based on the ongoing feedback program.
