March 20, 2014

Chick-fil-A and Sonic Drive-In deliver the best customer experience in the QSR segment, according to the 2014 Temkin Experience Ratings. According to a news release, the annual Temkin Experience Ratings are based on a study of 10,000 U.S. consumers.

Chick-fil-A was No. 1 for the third year in a row, and third overall out of 268 companies across 19 industries. Sonic Drive-In was No. 2 in the QSR category, with an overall ranking of fifth.

Five other QSRs earned an "excellent" rating, including Dairy Queen, Starbucks, Little Caesar's, Subway and Burger King.

Chains with the lowest rated customer experience this year were McDonalds, Baskin Robins and Orange Julius.

"Chick-fil-A continues to stand out amid an industry that receives overall strong marks for customer experience," Bruce Temkin, managing partner of Temkin Group, said in the release.
