Church's Chicken renews SaaS partnership with ArrowStream

ArrowStream Inc., a provider of Software-as-a-Service supply chain management technology, announced that Church's Chicken has renewed its SaaS license agreement to continue utilizing ArrowStream OnDemand, a visibility and predictability software solution.

According to a news release, Church's Chicken will continue to utilize OnDemand to provide an integrated, comprehensive management solution for its supply chain team. OnDemand combines transactional visibility to purchase orders, inventories and spend across Church's Chicken supply chain with a suite of components that enable administration of contracts, timely price verification and flexible reporting across the system.

"Over the course of our relationship, ArrowStream has demonstrated a deep understanding of our supply chain and has considerably influenced our day-to-day operations with the OnDemand solution," said Barry Barnett, SVP, Global Supply Chain and Purchasing at Church's Chicken. "When it came time to re-evaluate our supply chain software needs and decide whether we should build vs. buy, ArrowStream's flexibility, willingness to work closely with us, and understanding our system needs, made the decision to continue to outsource very easy."

Church's Chicken is also expanding its existing license to add new components that will enable the chain to further integrate with manufacturers and distributor partners, ensuring efficient operations throughout the supply chain.

"Implementation of these new components will have a significant impact on our approach to the supply chain by engineering and solving problems on the front-end and allowing us to quickly and efficiently manage our flow of inventory in the various points of distribution," Barnett said.
