Culver's kicks off online custard challenge

Culver's kicked off a $250 gift card getaway Wednesday, coinciding with Frozen Custard Day.

Culver's is challenging viewers of its latest TV spot to test their knowledge for a chance to win a $250 gift card through Sept. 9. Fans can take the "flavor quiz" online to enter.

Fresh Frozen Custard has been on the Culver's menu since the company was founded. The milk used in Culver's custard comes from more than 100 family farms in Wisconsin.

"A trip to Culver's wouldn't be complete without enjoying Fresh Frozen Custard," said Craig Culver, co-founder and CEO of Culver's. "It's the decadent half of our signature combination. One spoonful and you'll be hooked."

Frozen custard made its Midwestern debut during the Chicago World's Fair in 1933 and has been a Wisconsin staple ever since.

Culver's Flavor of the Day consists of more than 80 custard flavors which vary by restaurant location and rotate daily. Culver's iPhone and Android apps feature a five-day forecast so guests can keep track of the Flavors of the Day.
