Culver's today introduced its "Thank You, Farmers" campaign, showcasing its partnership with family farms and helping to "ensure the future of the next generation of farmers, biologists, chemists, veterinarians, engineers and entrepreneurs," according to a company press release.
"'Thank You, Farmers' is a natural extension of Culver's 'Welcome to Delicious' brand story," said David Stidham, vice president of marketing at Culver's. "Celebrating where our food comes from in a meaningful way is important to us and our guests. It's our way of recognizing the farmers who work so hard to provide us the great food we serve."
As part of the campaign, participating Culver's restaurants will pledge their support to farm families through "percent of sales" nights, a Scoopie token, guest donation program and event sponsorships. All of these efforts will benefit local chapters of the FFA organization.
Culver's will also introduce nationwide efforts including an online donation campaign on the Culvers.com homepage, as well as a Facebook promotion that will launch on July 15. The Facebook promotion will allow fans to write a brief thank you note to a farmer with each thank you note resulting in a $1 donation made to the National FFA Foundation on behalf of Culver's (up to $50,000).
