Dunkin' Donuts introduced its delivery service to New York City in Brooklyn and Manhattan, according to a company press release. DoorDash will be handling the delivery service actions for Dunkin' Delivery.
"With the best restaurants and fast deliveries, families across the country know that DoorDash is the best way to order their favorite food right to their doors," said DoorDashh Business Development Director Prahar Shah, in the report. "We're proud to be expanding our partnership with Dunkin' Donuts and adding one of their most popular cities to our growing list of markets offering Dunkin' Delivery."
The chain is offering delivery in the city from 7 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and until 2 a.m. Friday and Saturday nights. DoorDash also delivers Dunkin' Donuts in Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles and Washington, D.C.
"Our guests in this area are some of our busiest and most loyal customers, and getting around town can be quite time-consuming, so we're very excited to make Dunkin' Delivery available through DoorDash to keep people running on our wide array of food and beverage options in a convenient and easy way," Dunkin' Donuts Vice President of Digital Marketing and Innovation Sherrill Kaplan, in the report.
Three-year old DoorDash delivered millions of orders, raised more than $180 million and offers delivery in 27 markets, including 250 cities in the U.S. and Canada.
"The ability to have Dunkin' items delivered directly to you is something that our guests have been requesting for some time and we will continue to evaluate a possible national rollout in the future," said Kaplan.
