Florida KFCs increase bottom line 2% with video cameras

Envysion, a provider of managed video as a service technology, announced that D-Carr Investments has increased its bottom line by two percent in six months using Envysion Technology Insights platform to leverage video from cameras at 10 KFC stores in Florida. The technology provided a means to reward positive employee behavior, train employees, improve overall customer experience and decrease theft.

D-Carr’s director of operations, Bernie Quintero accesses video from cameras placed in kitchens and at the registers of its stores via web portal from his computer, tablet or smartphone, allowing Quintero to limit travel time and expense.

"On a Saturday I can easily be at 10 stores without leaving my house. The video has brought the business to a whole new level," says Quintero. "We can see things we were never able to see before, and the fact that our employees know that their interactions are being recorded has definitely changed behavior for the positive in our restaurants. We have achieved gains several times over what we pay with Envysion."
