Former Fazoli's exec assumes CFO role at Krystal

Former Fazoli's and Yum! Brands pizza executive Rodney Lee has stepped into the role of CFO and executive vice president at The Krystal Company, according to a news release. Lee brings more than 25 years of experience to the role.

 "We are very fortunate to be able to bring someone of Rodney's caliber to our executive leadership team," said Omar Janjua, CEO for The Krystal Company. "I've personally known and worked with Rodney in the past, and I've seen firsthand his ability to make a tremendous impact on business results through people."

At Fazoli's, Lee is credited with helping drive seven years of positive comps and recording the most profitable year for the company in its history, according to the release, which also said he was responsible for similar results as CFO and COO at a large Pizza Hut franchise group.

The Baylor University graduate also holds a master's degree in finance from the University of Texas at Dallas.
