Former McDonald's director joins chain's supply group

Michael Irgang, former senior director at McDonald's, has been named vice president and chief accounting officer of OSI Group, a key supplier for the chain.

Irgang has been employed by the McDonald's Corporation for the past 20 years, where he most recently served as senior director, Financial Risk Management. He concurrently served as treasurer of the Ronald McDonald House Charities.

His past positions include treasury director for McDonald's Latin America and manager, Capital Markets. Previously, he also worked for Bank of America and the accounting firm, Arthur Andersen & Co.

OSI Group LLC supplies protein items and other food products and is based out of Chicago.
