Gluten-free certification awarded to Freshly

The Gluten Intolerance Group, a gluten-free product and service certifier, has named Freshly as the first fresh-prepared, meal-delivery company to earn its gluten-free certification. The subscription-based food delivery brand specializes in door-delivered meals that customers can cook in 3 minutes, a news release said. 

The Gluten-Free Food Service Certification Program gives an official layer of reassurance and protection to those on gluten-free diets since it denotes 'clean' kitchen preparation and handling, according to the release.
