Golden Chick is expanding its partnership with the Texas Rangers by incorporating the club's 2026 City Connect primary logo into its employee uniforms, according to a press release.
The chicken franchise, which recently signed a five-year extension with the team, is currently the only sponsor to feature City Connect branding on its crew gear. The 2026 jersey design focuses on Mexican influence within Texas and reimagines elements of past Rangers uniforms.
Beyond the apparel integration, Golden Chick is the presenting sponsor of the Dot Race Results Bobblehead, the first collectible giveaway of the season. The brand's presence at Globe Life Field also includes a concession location in Section 127 and sponsorship of the Jr. Rangers Kids Club.
"As a Dallas-Fort Worth brand, our partnership with the Texas Rangers has always been about more than sponsorship. It's about becoming part of the rituals, traditions and shared excitement surrounding local pride and fandom, to connect with our core Texas customers," Howard Terry, chief marketing officer of Golden Chick, said in the press release. "Our team members are proud to be part of this tradition, as we continue building on our partnership with the Rangers through the City Connect tie-in and beyond."
The partnership began in 2018 with a sponsorship of the sixth-inning Dot Race. The company remains a family-owned brand based in the Dallas-Fort Worth market.
Golden Chick recently opened its 250th restaurant.
