Jon Lovitz hosts SUBWAY Dinner Theatre

MILFORD, Conn. —  In a new advertising campaign featuring comedian Jon Lovitz, SUBWAY is hosting "Dinner Theatre," where Lovitz sets the stage for several micro-melodramas, such as "Terror at 5 O'clock: the suspenseful tale of a mother's race against time" ... or "The Thing: a disturbing story of two 20-something dudes in their first encounter with an ordinary stove."
 
"I never had sandwiches as a supporting cast before," said Lovitz. "But the concept of introducing Dinner Theatre scenes was irresistible and the shoot was very improvisational. I tried a lot of things and I'm really happy with the final spots."
 
The ads, produced by MMB, debuted during coverage of the NCAA tournament April 1 and are slotted to run for the next several months, according to a news release.
