KFC adopts upgraded multi-option payment system

KFC has moved its payment system to Ingenico Group and that company's Telium semi-integrated solution. In a company news release, Ingenico said the new system provides customers more payment options and security with EMV chip and PIN, EMV chip and sign, magnetic stripe and NFC.

"Upgrading our payment terminals wasn't just about migrating to EMV — it was about helping to protect our customers' payment information and giving them the ability to pay the way they want, whether it's by using their mobile device or their credit card," KFC U.S. Chief Information Officer Chris Caldwell said in the release. "Ingenico Group has helped KFC U.S. transition to EMV and implement a seamless payment experience for our customers."

Ingenico Group offers payment solutions for all retail channels — in-store, online and mobile.
