Mother's Day — ahem, May 12, for those who are wondering — is a sales marathon for KFC, which doles out the chicken goods for about 300,000 families, according to a company press release.
Breaking that down for the data addicts in the crowd, the chain said it serves roughly 4 million pieces of chicken, 900,000 servings of mashed potatoes and gravy and 500,000 servings of cole slaw. Plus this year, because mom is such a sweetheart, the chain has partnered with Cinnabon to offer Cinnabon Dessert Biscuits.
The treats will be available April 29 through June 30 (or while supplies last). With the purchase of a 10-piece meal or larger, guests receive four free Cinnabon Dessert Biscuits, or the biscuits are available for individual purchase at $1 each or four biscuits for $3.
Finally, the chicken brand is also introducing the KFC Chickendales, which it describes as a "Colonel-ized version" of Chippendales dancers in personalized videos for mom via chickendales.com.
