Krispy Kreme giveaway marks 10th year in Canada

Krispy Kreme is celebrating its 10th birthday in Canada with free Original Glazed Doughnuts on Dec. 11, as well as special deals each day until then.

The promotions will take place at Krispy Kreme stores in Mississauga, Toronto, Montreal and Quebec City.

The first of Krispy Kreme's international doughnut units, the Mississauga, Ontario Shop, opened in 2001.

"We are truly grateful to all of our Krispy Kreme fans in Canada who helped make this birthday celebration possible," said Chris Lindsay, franchise owner of Krispy K. Canada Inc. "We're excited to show our appreciation to this community with a number of giveaways and specials in December."

Currently, the Krispy Kreme Original Glazed doughnut can be found in 21 countries, with aggressive expansion plansin place for more.
