Krispy Kreme hosting Talk Like a Pirate Day giveaway

Krispy Kreme is celebrating the annual Talk Like a Pirate Day, Sept. 19, with a doughnut giveaway. On that Wednesday, any guest who visits a Krispy Kreme location and talks like a pirate will receive one free Original Glazed doughnut.

Additionally, those who are wearing full pirate attire on Sept. 19 will receive one free dozen Original Glazed doughnuts. No weapons are allowed.

"Our Talk Like A Pirate Day promotion is a fun and unique opportunity to share the joy of Krispy Kreme online and in our shops as we continue to celebrate 75 years of our one-of-a-kind sweet treats with doughnut fans around the world," said Dwayne Chambers, chief marketing officer Krispy Kreme Doughnuts.
