LaMar's Donuts launches whole-grain options and skinny lattes

To celebrate New Year's resolutioners, LaMar's Donuts has introduced a new whole-grain glazed cake and whole-grain raised donuts accompanied by a variety of "skinny" latte flavorings.

The whole-grain donuts were created in response to consumer demand for healthier options.

"We are offering the Whole-Grain Trio throughout the first quarter of 2012 due to overwhelming requests from our loyal customers to carry a variety of health-conscious options. This will be the first phase of a wave of several healthier options to be offered in the future," said Kayde Pierce, spokesperson for LaMar's.

The whole-grain donuts will be available until March 31, along with skinny sugar-free caramel or vanilla lattes.

LaMar's Donuts was founded in 1960 and now includes 27 locations in six states: Alabama, Arizona, Colorado, Kansas, Missouri and Nebraska.
