Restaurants can benchmark their implementation, use and acceptance of emerging mobile payment technologies against the industry using Mahana's Payment Experience Evaluation Report
October 21, 2014
Mahana, an iBeacon and POS intelligence platform, has announced the release of its benchmarking tool, which measures what current and potential customers are adopting Apple Pay and other mobile payment technologies.
The Payment Experience Evaluation Report leverages Mahana's business rules management system and POS analytics to track payment technology adoption across the hospitality industry.
Restaurants can now benchmark their implementation, use and acceptance of emerging mobile payment technologies such as Apple Pay, Bitcoin, PayPal, and OpenTable Mobile Payments against the industry. These insights answer questions such as which payment methods are being accepted in certain hospitality segments and in specific geographic areas. Knowing which of these emerging payment types consumers are adopting will help merchants decide which ones should be implemented.
"The costs of these new payment technologies, including implementation, training, and support are very real. Especially for merchants with several locations," CEO Bryan Menell said in a news release. "Our customers will now be able to understand where to make these investments."
