McDonald's new mobile app includes offers, coupons

McDonald's has expanded its McD App to the New England and Albany, N.Y., region, the third market in the country to roll out the mobile feature.

According to Boston.com, the app features value offers and coupons and is available on iPhone and Android devices.

"Customers can also download the app by scanning the QR code on merchandising posted in McDonald's restaurants. In addition to coupons, the McD App offers a menu listing and restaurant locator. New deals will be available every six weeks," the company told the publication.

Those who download the app will receive immediate offers, such as a BOGO Egg McMuffin or dollar-off-McWrap deal.

Xbox One holiday promo underway

Additionally, McDonald's has launched its "One Hot Holiday" promotion, offering guests a chance to win an Xbox One.

Customers who purchase a Quarter Pounder, Quarter Pounder Classic, Premium McWrap or medium fries will receive a game piece. Other prizes in the sweepstakes include Xbox Music and The Wolverine on Xbox Video.
