New business development exec named for McDonald's franchisees

September 12, 2012

Edgewood Partners Insurance Center (EPIC), a retail property, casualty and employee benefits insurance brokerage, announced that Connie Rowe has been appointed vice president and business development executive in the firm's San Ramon, Calif.-based Programs Group. In this role, Rowe, who has 25 years of risk management experience, will expand her support of EPIC's insurance programs for McDonald's owners and operators to include new business development responsibilities.

Throughout her career, Rowe has specialized in claims management, safety program development and workers' compensation cost control.

Prior to joining the EPIC Programs Group in 2005, Rowe held a range of risk management and insurance positions for both employers and insurance companies.

For more than seven years, Rowe, a Certified Professional Disability Manager (CPDM), has worked closely with McDonald's franchise owners in a collaborative risk management and loss control role.

"In many ways, the growth, strength and stability of our McDonald's 'Preferred Operator Group' speak for themselves," Rowe said. "We serve a highly satisfied group of operators, both large and small, who benefit equally from our consulting expertise and value added services. I'm very excited to be leading the expansion of this success and value to other McDonald's operators in California and across the country."
