White Castle and Garage Beer are expanding their partnership this fall, introducing a limited-time beer cheese menu at White Castle restaurants alongside a line of co-branded merchandise, according to a press release.
The menu items, available at participating locations from now through Nov. 1, feature a custom cheese sauce made with Wisconsin aged cheddar and Garage Beer.
"Garage Beer and White Castle share the same DNA: bold, authentic and a little unexpected," Jamie Richardson, White Castle's chief marketing officer, said in the release. "This friendship keeps finding new ways to bring that spirit to life, and this fall might be the boldest yet."
The restaurant collaboration includes three new menu options:
Customers can purchase the items individually or in a $6.99 combo meal that includes two sausage sliders, a six-piece order of pretzel nibblers with cheese sauce, and a small soft drink.
"It's always a blast working with White Castle. Outside of sharing the same Columbus roots, we're always in sync on our collabs. I guess you could say we go together like sliders and beer," Andy Sauer, Garage Beer CEO, said in the release. "We've already done a lot together, and beer cheese is the latest, with plenty more still to come. Just talking about it makes me hungry. Now I need some Chicken Rings, a Crave Case and a side of beer cheese."
The in-store menu follows the brands' July release of a limited-edition, direct-to-consumer summer starter kit. To round out the fall campaign, the two Ohio-based companies have also released merchandise on White Castle's online store, House of Crave. Fans can purchase co-branded items including an ice bucket, a tote bag, a hat and an embroidered patch.
