PAR launches EverServ QSR Suite

ParTech Inc., a subsidiary of PAR Technology Corporation which delivers point-of-sale and back-office solutions for restaurant and retail operators, has launched its new EverServ QSR software solution.

The suite enables operators to transition to a POS system that optimizes customer service and provides the foundation to enable future business initiatives.

The PAR EverServ QSR Suite is built on the Microsoft .NET framework, which supports aesthetic user experiences, seamless and secure communication and the ability to model a range of business processes.

Also, the EverServ QSR point-of-service software is optimized for use with the Windows Embedded POSReady2009 platform and has been tested on Windows Embedded POSReady 7, Microsoft’s next generation platform delivering the power of Windows 7 to point-of-service solutions. The Windows Embedded POSReady 7 community technology preview (CTP) is currently available.

The suite was created in response to consumer spending and dining habit shifts that are causing operators to retool IT infrastructures and optimize current operations to be quicker and more flexible.

"Traditional methods of restaurant marketing, order taking, payment, supply chain management and operations are being replaced by entirely new approaches to managing and influencing a dining customer’s behavior – from long before they venture to place their order, to long after they have finished their meal," said Scott Langdoc, chief technology officer, ParTech. "The PAR EverServ POS suite was born with this new environment in mind, focusing on usability, integration and flexible order management."

Namely, the system’s Microsoft.NET architecture, SOA-centric foundation and enterprise scalability provide operators the platform to simplify the process of adding new capabilities such as mobile, loyalty and social media in order to keep up with these changing consumer habits, Langdoc added.

The PAR EverServ QSR Suite delivers a complete solution to enable restaurant operators to optimize the level of service and interaction with their customers. EverServ QSR features time-saving order taking functionality, including extensive modifier, combo and conversational ordering capabilities.

Additionally, with advanced suggestive selling tools and integrated marketing/order confirmation displays, QSR Suite can help restaurants generate incremental sales.

The PCI Security Standards Council has evaluated and determined that the latest version of PAR EverServ QSR complies with Payment Application Data Security Standard (PA-DSS) v1.2.
