Popeyes franchisee deploys loss-prevention video service

Envysion Inc., a Managed Video as a Service (MVaaS) provider, announced that Wali Enterprises, a Popeyes franchisee, is rolling out Envysion to all of its locations to combat loss.

"Combining Envysion's managed video as a service solution with the Popeyes specific exception reports will enhance our existing loss prevention initiatives. With Envysion we'll be better positioned to better analyze and proactively protect our assets to grow our business," said Rick Mohammad, owner of Wali Enterprises.

Envysion's video-driven business intelligence synchronizes point-of-sale system data and with real-time video, transforming video footage into searchable, actionable information. The video system will enable Wali Enterprises to quickly identify suspicious activity at the point of sale, thus permitting management and operator's visibility into the transaction to validate if theft occurred.

Envysion provides Popeyes franchisees a turnkey solution that is simple to install and manage. Leveraging Envysion's Popeyes specific exception reports, Wali Enterprises will be able to review high risk incidents such as fraudulent employee discounts and excessive refunds.
