Popeyes recognized for training and onboarding programs

December 12, 2011

Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen has won top recognition in Brandon Hall's Excellence in Learning and Talent Management awards.

Popeyes used Certpoint Systems Inc.'s CERTPOINTVLS suite as part of an effort to revitalize its training and onboarding programs. These programs blend classroom learning, on-the-job training and E-learning to provide a consistent training foundation for new hires and managerial staff at franchisee restaurants throughout Popeyes' system.

"We're thrilled that Popeyes has had success with CERTPOINTVLS," said Brian Baloga, senior vice president of Sales at Certpoint. "We think they're proof-positive that VLS is powerful enough to help drive even the most demanding blended learning environment."

In recognition of the launch of its new training initiatives, Popeyes was awarded two gold prizes by Brandon Hall, in the Best Use of Blended Learning and Best Onboarding Program categories.

"We have always been proud of our training programs," said Sondra Bertrand, director of Operations Systems for Popeyes. "It's great to have them recognized this way."
