Pretzelmaker taps NeNe Leakes as spokesperson

Pretzelmaker will once again celebrate National Pretzel Day April 26 by giving away free pretzels to its guests.

This year, Pretzelmaker is adding a twist to the campaign by asking customers to tell their favorite joke to receive the free soft pretzel (standard salted or unsalted) while supplies last. Those who can't think of a joke can simply say "National Pretzel Day" to participate.

Television star NeNe Leakes will serve as the official spokesperson to support Pretzelmaker through a variety of activities, including promoting the day's celebrations through a nationwide satellite media tour on April 26. Leakes can currently be seen on the NBC Comedy, The New Normal, the fifth season of the reality show, The Real Housewives of Atlanta, and also has a recurring role on Glee.

This is Pretzelmaker's sixth year celebrating National Pretzel Day. The company is managed by GFG Management LLC, a subsidiary of Global Franchise Group.
