Quiznos: Loyalty is ... a lobsta'

Like lobsters themselves, which mate for life, Quiznos says (and who are we to argue?), Quiznos is pledging its commitment to members of its loyalty program by giving them one free Lobster & Seafood sub in February.

Beginning on that most commited of holidays, Valentine's Day, all new or current users of the Quiznos Toasty Points loyalty app get a free eight-inch Lobster & Seafood Scampi Bake or Lobster & Seafood Classic sub with any purchase at all participating U.S. locations.

Quiznos lobster subs are part of its lobster and seafood lineup, which is available as an LTO through the end of March. The chain's lobster and seafood lineup features three options: Lobster & Seafood Scampi Bake; Lobster & Seafood Classic Sub; and Lobster & Seafood Fresh Salad.

"For years, we have been rolling out our Lobster and Seafood sub as a limited-time-only offering, and our customers demonstrated that they love this sandwich and eagerly anticipate its return to our menu," Chris Ruszkowski, Quiznos  senior vice president, said in the release. "We want to celebrate their love and our love for these offerings by sharing a free sub with our most loyal customers — those enrolled in our Toasty Points Loyalty program."

Quiznos customers who download the app and become Toasty Points members also receive a free four-inch sub with any purchase. The combination giveaway promises to make February a very good month for the chain and a very bad one for lobsters.
