Revention and Valutec, a full-service provider of Gift Card and Loyalty services, have announced Revention's integration with Valutec's Rewards program.
The two companies have had a business partnership for more than eight years.
The integration allows a consumer to earn points on a merchant-provided loyalty card and those points translate into reward dollars which can be spent on future purchases.
According to a news release, the program provides an effective way for merchants to expand their customer base and encourage frequent purchases. There is no additional cost for a loyalty/reward program for anyone on the Valutec system. Merchants pay only for loyalty cards and additional loyalty transactions.
Valutec's Loyalty/Rewards cards don't contain monetary value — they track customer activity. A store owner can give them to customers as part of a marketing campaign toencourage them to purchase more frequently, and in doing so also collect demographic data that allows an owner/operator to gain an edge over their competition, the companies said.
