Revention partners with Vantiv Inc for EMV solution

Revention, a provider of custom point-of-sale solutions to the hospitality industry, announced it has partnered with Vantiv Inc to provide a secure EMV payment solution.

Revention, a provider of custom point-of-sale solutions to the hospitality industry, announced it has partnered with Vantiv Inc to provide a secure EMV payment solution. Vantiv is a provider of payment-processing services and related technology solutions for merchants. Vantiv's payment platform provides point-to-point encryption of credit card data, which reduces the PCI compliancy requirements of merchants, according to a press release from Revention.

"Vantiv's dedication to advancing technology and customer service were the primary factors behind Revention's decision to enter into the partnership”, said Laura J. Gaudin, director of product management of Revention.  "A transition to a new payment solution does not come without challenges; from merchant education on new emerging payment options to software development, Vantiv has been a true partner throughout the entire process.”

The secure EMV payment solution also provides merchants with the ability to process NFC contactless payments such as Apple Pay and Android Pay (formerly known as Google Wallet), as well as PIN debit cards. 

"Since the EMV liability shift in October, the adoption rate of Revention's new payment processing solution has been gaining momentum”, said Jesse Mund, director of sales of Revention.
