Rita's Italian Ice welcomes spring with Instagram, Twitter contest

Rita's Italian Ice will celebrate its 21st Annual First Day of Spring Free Ice Giveaway March 20 with an Instagram and Twitter photo contest.

During the event, Rita's is encouraging fans to photograph their "First Taste of Spring" at a participating unit. One contestant will win free Ice for a year and runners up will win other prizes from Social Print Studio (http://printstagr.am).

To enter the photo contest guests must follow Rita's on Twitter (@RitasItalianIce) and/or Instagram (@ritasice) and hashtag their entries with #ritasfirstdayofspring. Photos submitted will be judged based on creativity, originality and how well a fan showcases their first taste of spring at Rita's.

Rita's Instagram and Twitter contest begins on March 20 at noon and ends at midnight, March 22. Winners will be notified on March 27 and announced on March 29.
