Subway is returning its popular hot honey flavor to menus with the Hot Honey Signature Swicy Collection, featuring Doritos Hot Honey Nachos and two new sandwiches, available nationwide from now through Oct. 26, according to a press release.

The nachos are made with Doritos Nacho Cheese flavored tortilla chips topped with Monterey cheddar, vegetables and Subway's Hot Honey. Customers can choose from three pre-set options: chicken, steak or cheese. The chicken and cheese nachos are priced at $4.99 at participating locations.

The collection also includes the Hot Honey Italian sub, which features salami, pepperoni and provolone, and the Hot Honey Turkey Italiano, which adds turkey to the same build.

"Great Hot Honey is all about balance. You want enough heat to wake up the flavor, followed by a touch of sweetness that keeps you coming back for another bite," Paul Fabre, senior vice president of culinary innovation, said in the release.

To accompany the new menu items, Subway is also introducing Propel Kiwi Strawberry as a limited-time beverage option.

"Our guests made it clear they wanted Hot Honey back, and we wanted to do more than simply bring back the same lineup," Jeff Klein, chief marketing officer, said in the release. "We partnered with Doritos to give them something completely unexpected: loaded Hot Honey Nachos with the big flavor, satisfying crunch, and value guests expect from Subway."
