Subway kicks off new loyalty program in March

Next month, Subway will launch MyWay Rewards, a loyalty program customized to the user from enrollment through redemption, according to a press release. The chain said that its estimated 28,500 North American locations will make the initiative the QSR industry's largest loyalty program for reward earnings and redemption. 

The new program allows enrollment via app or website, or in-restaurant with a Subway card, and provides rewards regardless of how a customer pays for selections. Every dollar spent yields 4 reward tokens. At 200 tokens, the enrollee receives a $2 reward that can be applied to any Subway offering. 

The program also includes bonuses, a birthday surprise and surprise rewards such as free cookies and chips. The more enrollees order, the more surprises they get, the release said.
