Subway partners with Feeding America to curb hunger

Tying in its recently announced Hunger Games promotion, Subway has partnered with Feeding America in an effort to donate 1 million meals to those in need.

To help the company with the campaign, customers need to snap a picture with a Hunger Games standee at a restaurant and post it to Twitter @Subway with the hashtag #SUBtractHunger.

Social media fans are also encouraged to share the campaign's hashtag to their network via Facebook and Twitter.

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire hits theaters Nov. 22. Subway has also incorporated an online and mobile game with the Hunger Games theme. Guests receive codes on specially marked beverage cups and chips, then enter the code on the brand's website for a chance to win one of many prizes.
