Sunfly has opened its first location in The Colony, Texas, introducing a drive-thru beverage concept that combines craft cocktail-inspired drinks, functional beverages and fresh snacks, the company has announced in a news release.
Founded by Matt Bailey and John Brennan, the concept brings techniques and ingredients typically found in full-service restaurants and tropical bars to a convenient, fast-service format, with guests able to purchase a drink and snack for around $10. According to the company website, six more Dallas-Fort Worth locations are on the way, in Frisco, Keller, Prosper, Richardson, Crowley and Plano.
"Sunfly grew out of our passion for creating great drinks," Bailey, co-founder of Sunfly, said in the release. "John Brennan, my business partner, and I wanted to bring the creativity and quality of our full-service restaurants to a fast, approachable, yet elevated drive-thru experience."
The menu features nitro lemonades, fruit-infused matcha drinks, nitro cold brew creations and wellness-focused beverages made with coconut water and aloe water. Customers can customize drinks with functional add-ins such as protein, collagen, prebiotic fiber and electrolytes. Food offerings include fresh-baked pastries, breakfast wraps and grilled chicken wraps. Sunfly also is launching Cabana Club, a 15-week promotional series featuring limited-edition weekly giveaways tied to its signature beverages.
