Taco Bell Canada is encouraging fans to join the brand in a spirited summer "stand against boring."
On June 27, Taco Bell kicked off its TV campaign that features adventurous eaters who are fed up with the standard burger combo. Each TV ad closes with the symbol of the Taco Bell Canada revolution: a branded arm, holding a Burrito Supreme.
Online, Taco Bell fans can pledge to uphold the Taco Bell manifesto and share tips on how they break from the status quo.
The campaign also includes a humorous conspiracy-themed, Facebook-powered, interactive video about "Big Burger" that can be personalized and shared with photos.
"Taco Bell is a bold, challenger brand and burgerbacklash.ca appeals to our fans' sense of individuality — and their love of variety and the unexpected," said Dan Howe, chief marketing officer for Yum! Restaurants Canada.
