The latest contribution to over-the-top quick-service offerings comes courtesy of Taco Bell. The chain introduced an XXL-sized crispy Chalupa last week, featuring all of the fixings of its regular Chalupa, but much bigger.
The item is filled with ground beef, lettuce, fiesta salsa, a three cheese blend of cheddar, pepper jack and mozzarella, red strips and topped with reduced-fat sour cream and nacho cheese sauce.
The XXL Chalupa boasts 650 calories, 39 grams of fat and 1,300 miligrams of sodium.
Taco Bell joins an already crowded field of QSR gluttony, including Carl's Jr.'s footlong cheeseburger and Burger King's giant pizza burger.
