TCBY marks 30th anniversary with Facebook Sweepstakes

TCBY was founded in 1981 and has been celebrating its 30th anniversary throughout the year with new flavors and contests.

Now the chain is ready to launch its latest promotion in honor of the milestone. Throughout September, TCBY will offer the chance to win free frozen yogurt via a Facebook Sweepstakes. Customers who enter will also receive a coupon for 30 percent off a single item to be used anytime during the month.

The sweepstakes begins Sept. 1 and can only be accessed through the "30th Anniversary Sweepstakes" tab on the TCBY Facebook page.

From Monday through Friday of each week in September, fans will have the chance to win one of two $30 gift certificates. On the final day, Sept. 30, TCBY will pick a winner who will receive a year's worth of free fro-yo, a $300 value.

Each fan who enters the contest will receive a 30 percent off coupon via email. Contestants can only enter once through the sweepstakes submission form, but may gain more entries for each friend they "share" the contest with who enters.

"So much has changed over the last 30 years, from our proprietary blend, the healthiest in the industry, to our store design and self-serve offering, the brand truly has evolved with the support of our customers," said Tim Casey, CEO of TCBY. "We wouldn't be where we are today if it wasn't for our enthusiastic fans that have stood by us through the years. Because of this, we want to give back to them, in the best manner possible ... with a swirl of The Country's Best Yogurt."
