Tim Hortons launches contest to promote cold beverages

As the weather warms up, Tim Hortons Cafe & Bake Shop is now promoting its Iced Capp frozen drink. The brand's summer-themed contest, "Chill to Win," starts today and runs through June 30.

During that time, guests who purchase an Iced Capp or any cold beverage at a Tim Hortons Café & Bake Shop will receive a PIN code by peeling the tab on either side of the cup. They then enter their PIN code at chilltowin.com for a chance to win instant prices, including daily $1,000 cash prizes and 10 grand prizes of $10,000 MasterCard Pre Paid cards.

Chill to Win also offers guests the chance to play an open online game with no PIN code to win more prizes including Tim Cards, additional PIN codes and an entry into a weekly draw for a VIP Music Experience with Bon Jovi.

"The original Iced Capp is an essential summer drink like no other. Its indulgent taste beats the heat and cools you — and now, it comes with a chance to win cash prizes," said Mike Meilleur, executive vice president, Tim Hortons U.S. "What better way to usher in summer?"

Additionally, Tim Hortons Cafe & Bake Shop's Coffee Cruisers will soon be on the road again kicking-off the summer by providing free, full-size servings of Iced Capp at community events, area businesses and summer outings. New in 2013, Tim Hortons Cafe & Bake Shop is launching its "Tims Time Off" tour. The new program sends the Coffee Cruisers to area businesses surprising employees with a mid-day break. Professionals will be treated to free Iced Capps, the opportunity to play games with co-workers and score summer-themed giveaways.
