Tim Hortons Cafe & Bake Shop will celebrate National Random Acts of Kindness Week, Feb. 10-16, by picking up the bill for random guests at the drive-thru.
This year marks the fourth year for Tim Hortons Cafe & Bake Shop's Random Cups of Kindness event. In 2013, the restaurant chain treated close to 6,000 guests to a free order. This year, it plans on treating even more customers in approximately 300 restaurants across the U.S., according to a news release.
"Our guests' generosity to one another continues to amaze and inspire us," said Mike Meilleur, executive vice president, Tim Hortons U.S. "What started out as just a few instances of guests paying it forward has now become a bit of a fun Tim Hortons tradition."
A customer who receives their order for free will be given a coffee card good for one, free medium size coffee to pass along to someone else to continue paying it forward.
Tim Hortons Cafe & Bake Shop's Random Cups of Kindness event kicks off in all U.S. markets at select restaurants on Feb. 10 and ends Feb. 16.
