Tim Hortons' Sustainability Report garners award

August 10, 2011

Tim Hortons has received two ARC Awards for Outstanding Achievement for its online Sustainability Report and its printed Annual Report.

Specifically, Tim Hortons received the Gold Award for its Interactive Annual Report in the Sustainability Category and the Silver Award for its print Annual Report in the Restaurant Category. The awards will be presented at an Awards Gala Ceremony on Sept. 22 in New York City.

The reports were created through Tim Hortons' partnership with Bryan Mills Iradesso (BMIR), a marketing and investor communications firm with offices in Toronto and Calgary.

"The awards provide positive reinforcement of our ongoing collaboration with Bryan Mills Iradesso and what we are collectively working to achieve in our financial and sustainability reporting," said Scott Bonikowsky, vice president, Investor Relations, Tim Hortons Inc.

The online Sustainability Report was Tim Hortons' first.

"We are honored that leading companies like Tim Hortons place their trust in us to help ensure that their reports deliver their important corporate messages, both in terms of design and content," said Nancy Ladenheim, CEO of BMIR.

The international ARC Awards is sponsored by MerComm Inc., an international independent awards organization, founded with the mission to advance the standards of excellence in the fields of corporate communications.
