Detroit's Angel's Night will be fueled by White Castle Sliders instead of gasoline. The three-day, anti-arson, volunteer campaign - the City of Detroit's largest volunteer project - is from Oct. 29-31 and is coordinated by Detroit Mayor Dave Bing.
This is the 14th year for White Castle to sponsor the event, providing each volunteer with one of three Saver Sack Meals. Each Saver Sack comes with at least two sandwiches, an order of french fries and a beverage.
Volunteers craving the opportunity are required to order inside and must be wearing Angel's Night attire or something with the event's new logo. Hours for the giveaway are from 6 p.m. to 3 a.m. Oct. 29, 30 and 31.
