White Castle hosts giveaway to celebrate 1M Facebook fans

White Castle earned its 1 millionth Facebook fan this week and will host a giveaway promotion to celebrate.

"It was a major milestone when White Castle sold more than a million Sliders in 1923," said Lisa Ingram, president of White Castle, in a news release. "Now, 93 years later, we're so excited that more than a million fans have liked White Castle on Facebook."

Through Jan. 23, White Castle's Facebook fans will have a chance to win one of 50 White Castle Swag Bags and be registered for the grand prize drawing. Every White Castle Facebook fan will be offered a coupon good for two free Original Sliders with any purchase.

For the grand prize, one White Castle Facebook fan and a guest will win a trip to the brand's headquarters in Columbus, Ohio. The winner will also dine with the Ingram family, who founded the brand. An Ingram has been at the helm of White Castle since it first opened in 1921.

"We're thrilled to celebrate this memorable moment and on behalf of White Castle we want to sincerely thank all of Craver Nation for their loyalty and support," Ingram said. "We look forward to celebrating with a member of Craver Nation who helped make this all happen."
