Wienerschnitzel kicks off corn dog sweepstakes

Wienerschnitzel has kicked off its third annual "Cash in on a Corn Dog" sweepstakes and is giving away $100,000 in cash prizes and "Wiener Bucks," as well as more than 1 million free corn dogs.

Beginning today, customers can "Eat it, Read it, Win it?" by purchasing/eating a corn dog, reading the wooden stick to check for a prize or code and redeeming the prize if they win.

One out of every four Wienerschnitzel customers will have a chance to win a prize ranging from a free corn dog to the grand cash prize of $10,000.

Cash prizes range from the grand prize, to $1,000, $500 and $100, as well as $10 and $5 Wiener Bucks. Additionally, 1.3 million free corn dogs will be given away, redeemable at any time. Customers that receive a stick printed with a 10-digit code can enter the code online at www.CashInOnACornDog.com and register for the chance to win one of the cash prize amounts.

"This year we've doubled the cash prize giveaways for our annual 'Cash in on a Corn Dog' sweepstakes and boosted the chances for our customers to win big," said Tom Amberger, vice president of marketing for Wienerschnitzel. "Combining our everyday value and our fan-favorite corn dogs with fun contests and giveaways is our favorite way to reward our loyal customers."

All cash awards and Wiener Bucks will be fulfilled by mail.

The contest runs through June 30 or until supplies last, and customers can redeem prizes until July 31.

The "Cash in on a Corn Dog" sweepstakes will be supported with television and radio advertising, online marketing, social media and in-store point-of-purchase materials.
