Wisconsin McDonald's co-op names Dallas agency to lead creative

October 22, 2013

Dallas-based Moroch Partners has won the co-op business for McDonald's restaurants in Madison, Wisc., following a national client-led review.

Moroch beat five other agencies that were invited to participate. The agency will handle the general consumer market business for the McDonald's Madison Co-op, which is comprised of local McDonald's franchisees, and will be responsible for creative, media planning and buying, social, public relations and government relations. Terms of the agreement were undisclosed.

"We met with some of the best-regarded agencies, and Moroch won because of its strategic approach and its superb creative," Rick Lommen, president, Madison Co-op for McDonald's, said in a news release. "Also, having worked with McDonald's for more than 30 years, Moroch has a clear understanding of our business and are excellent agency partners."

The agency's first assignment will be to "organize and orchestrate a full single voice in the market through an integrated process," the release said. The Madison Co-op will be serviced out of Moroch's Milwaukee office, where seven other McDonald's markets are also serviced.

Moroch services co-op McDonald's businesses within 61 markets.

"We're excited to win another McDonald's co-op in a city that we know well and love," said Rob Boswell, president of Moroch Partners. "We're looking forward to continuing to develop innovative and award-winning work that helps drive McDonald's business."
