Yogurt Mountain launches American Heart Association campaign

February 3, 2012

Yogurt Mountain LLC has launched a campaign to raise funds for the American Heart Association.

The campaign runs through Feb. 15 and gives customers a chance to make donations to the AHA while visiting a Yogurt Mountain location.

Each customer's $1 AHA donation will be represented by an artfully displayed Valentine's card commemorating someone special.

To kick off the Valentine's-themed campaign, Yogurt Mountain will offer a discount to customers wearing red on National Wear Red Day, today, to support the AHA's Go Red for Women campaign.

Also, on Feb. 14, customers who are part of the YOMOBILE rewards program will receive a "buy one get one free" special on their yogurt cup purchase.

"Heart disease is a silent killer, and one that affects millions of women each year," said Julie Wade, Yogurt Mountain's vice president of Product and Marketing. "So, Yogurt Mountain is starting the conversation to raise awareness, as well as funds to support the American Heart Association through a Valentine-themed campaign."

Yogurt Mountain has 40 stores open in 15 states featuring 12 to 16 rotating flavors of frozen yogurt and more than 50 toppings.
