ADUSA Debuts Qi Self-Ordering Software for Restaurants

Self-Order Software leverages ADUSA’s Enterprise Grade OrderHUB™ Server

Hoffman Estates, Ill. – ADUSA, Inc. today announced that it has released a new software product for self-ordering kiosks, tablets, web and mobile devices in quick-service and fast casual restaurants. The software is named Qi and leverages ADUSA’s robust, enterprise OrderHUB™ server technology.

According to Juan C. Perez, CEO of ADUSA, Inc., “We have deployed over 1,000 selfordering kiosks in the grocery industry and are quite experienced with self-ordering technology, as a whole. Roughly two years ago, we designed our OrderHUB™ as a server core that positions us to respond quickly as new markets adopt self-ordering. With the high level of interest in self-ordering technologies now being generated in the restaurant industry, we felt it was the right time to enter that market with a comprehensive, yet affordable, software solution. While our Qi solutions can scale for any size business, we decided to aim them specifically at what we consider to be underserved small and medium businesses. In other words, independents and franchisees who might otherwise feel they are not be able to afford the self-ordering technologies we are starting to see at the major chains.”

Qi consists of two independent modules: Qi.SO™ addresses self-ordering, while Qi.DD™ addresses Digital Displays and Menu Boards. Both modules are deployed as client modules of the OrderHUB™ server. Key features of Qi.SO™ include comprehensive menu management and integration with many of the major POS systems in the restaurant industry. A key feature of Qi.DD™ is its centralized content and digital display panel management. Both modules are affordably priced for small and medium business, but can also scale to fit large tier 1 businesses. Both modules are available as licensed software, on a subscription basis, or as a cloud service. Qi.DD™ is available on kiosk hardware from several providers, offering a range of cost options.
