In  Colombia, McDonald's is also deploying interactive digital signage made to get potential customers moving. The brand recently worked with outdoor advertising company, JCDecaux Colombia, to deliver nothing short of a digital signage dance party.

The companies deployed an interactive display at a JCDecaux Colombia bus shelter in Bogota to celebrate the brand's fiftieth anniversary of its trademark Big Mac sandwich. The outdoor displays challenged users to a dance-off, offering a chance to win McDonald's collectible item, the McCoin, for the trouble.

The display featured silhouettes of figures in certain dance poses. Customers had to follow those moves closely. Customers who successfully completed the dance got a chance to win a McCoin, which they could then trade for a free Big Mac or keep.

The campaign generated 1,200 interactions during a single week, according to a Youtube video from JCDecaux.

JCDecaux and its subsidiaries have done a variety of outdoor interactive campaigns, such as an AR campaign that of a virtual shark attack to advertise the movie, "The Meg." It also deployed various interactive campaigns in major airports, such as a travel campaign at the Singapore Changi Airport, and one advertising the Ford EccoSport SUV at the Paris Aeroport-Orly.
